Walk 1 - Louvre - Les Halles - Pompidou Centre - Marais - Ile St Louis - Notre Dame
A varied walk starting at the Louvre, passing and visiting the two largest churches in Paris, the two islands in the middle of the Seine, a taster of the Marais district and three of the most visited attractions in Paris - Louvre, Pompidou Centre & Notre Dame.

Walk 2- Louvre - Tuilleries Gardens - Champs Elysees - Arc de Triomphe
The classic short walk in the centre of Paris. A walk through the Louvre Palace, the Tuilleries gardens beyond to the Place de Concorde and then up the Champs Elysees to finish at the Arc de Triomphe.

Starting at the Palais Royal, a walk through several old shopping arcades/galleries with small independent shops to interest everyone from exclusive shoe shops to second hand books. Option to conclude walk with a visit to the main department stores of Paris or the largest market at Puce de St Ouen.

A walk that is seldom out of sight of the Eiffel Tower. Starts at the replica of the Statue of Liberty donated to the USA by the French government. River, garden and cemetery walks to the outstanding view of the Eiffel Tower at Trocadero. Conclude after visit to the Eiffel Tower with a visit to Invalides including military museums, churches and Napoleon's tomb.

Walk 5 - A Stroll Around The Left Bank / Latin Quarter
A longish walk passing through all the main points of interest on the left bank, in and around the Latin Quarter. Starting at the Luxembourg Palace, meandering through St Germain, the left bank itself and the Latin Quarter including the Sorbonne and Pantheon. Walk ends at the Jardin des Plantes after a taster of the 'authentic' parts of the Latin Quarter with few visitors.

Montmartre, on a low hill just north of the centre and one of the most visited parts of Paris. The walk starts near Pigalle with visits to Montmartre Cemetery and Moulin Rouge theatre before guiding you through the less visited parts of Montmartre to Sacre Coeur church.

Pere Lachaise cemetery has become one of the most visited attractions in Paris. Supplement your visit with a short walk to Parc des Buttes Chaumont, developed from old quarries we think this is one of the best urban parks in the world. Walk is via Parc Belleville with great views of the City Centre.

Walk 9 - A Walk Along A Disused Railway Line From Bastille to the Paris Zoo
Historic Bastille used to have a railway station. Now closed down the old railway line has been turned into a linear urban park. A great 'breather' in your itinerary taking you to the Paris Zoo in the Bois de Vincennes
