Paris bus system in the city centre mostly plays a supporting role
to the Paris Metro, operated by the same company.

The
public transport option of choice for most visitors to Paris. Integrated
with both bus and RER train system with stations near wherever you
want to go in Central Paris.

| RER: |
The
local commuter network will mostly be used by those going to both
of the Paris Airports or Versailles or Eurodisney. Limited use in
the centre itself.

| River: |
There
is no river public transport system in Paris, but there is a scheduled
boat called Batobus which shuttles between the major tourist attractions
along the Seine.

Buses: |
The
hop-on hop-off double-decker tour buses are now found in most cities
throughout the world. Paris is no exception. |

A
sometimes bewildering arrays of public transport passes are available.
For a day, 3 days, a week or much longer.
