True
low cost budget airlines operating into Paris are dominated by easyJet
and Ryanair who have hubs in Paris operating to destinations across
Europe.
Other low cost budget airlines operate into Paris from their home
bases.
Ryanair operate from Beauvais about 100kms north of Paris. A shuttle
bus meets every flight to take passengers to Paris, but the journey
is at least 75 minutes.
At Charles de Gaulle, Terminal 3 is a special terminal that handles
all budget and charter traffic. It is located between the two main
terminals.

Although
other low cost airlines do fly to Paris, only easyJet and Ryanair
have true hubs at Paris flying to a wide range of European destinations.
Only a few years ago the London to Paris route was one of the busiest
flight routes in the world. Since the introduction of the fast Eurostar
trains between London and Paris, flights have been drastically pruned
to just a basic service between London Heathrow and Paris, largely
for connecting flights.

Ryanair
An Irish airline with a hub at Paris Beauvais airport.
Ryanair have a reputation for offering the lowest fares of
all the budget airlines. Ryanair are infamous for operating into secondary
airports of cities in order to cut costs.
Paris Beauvais is
such an airport, 100kms north of Paris.
