The Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est sit in close proximity to one another,
only about 500m apart.
Both stations are situated in arrondissement 10 just to the north-east
of the very centre of the Opera & Louvre area.
The Gare Du Nord is much the busier of the two stations and in terms
of numbers is the busiest station in France and probably third busiest
in the world.
