Big Bus Paris Hop On Hop Off Sightseeing Bus

The Big Bus hop on hop off open top sightseeing bus is one of the two dominant classic double decker open top sightseeing operations in Paris. The other operator is L'OpenTour which we also detail on a dedicated page.

There is a clear difference between Big Bus and L'Opentour hop on hop off sightseeing bus services, Big Bus is the cheaper option as it just concentrates on the main sightseeing attractions, while L'Opentour is more comprehensive venturing out beyond the centre of Paris.

The Big Bus option has a main route of eleven stops covering all the major sightseeing attractions in the very centre of Paris including the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, Notre Dame and Louvre. This is supplemented by a shorter route that serves the Montmartre area, north of the city centre.

The L'OpenTour alternative has 4 routes all covered by the same ticket. L'OpenTour has a core central route similar to Big Bus and three other routes that covers the major sights outside the very centre like Montmartre, Bastille and Catacoombes and also the major rail stations including Gare Du Nord.

Both have the option to add a River Seine cruise onto the bus ticket as an optional supplement.
