Just to the south of Orly Airport is the town of Athis-Mons. At the northern edge of the town by the airport boundary are two hotels, the Kyriad and Orly Superior hotels offering budget accommodation and their own free shuttle services to the passenger terminals at Orly Airport.

Unlike the alternative Orly airport hotels, those Orly hotels close to the airport terminals and at Rungis, these two hotels are not isolated.
On your doorstep is a large Carrefour hypermarket open until late with almost anything you can need including a cheap cafe.. Public buses pass the door regularly into the centre of town.
You can also easily travel to and from Orly airport by public buses 285 and 292. The bus stop is accessed from the south terminal only at Orly. (There are free links to the west terminal.) The bus lines are signposted from within the terminal and are next to the terminals car park.
After boarding the bus goes through a tunnel under the runways. When you come out the other side a few old commercial airliners including a Concorde will take your attention on the left hand side of the road. The Kyriad and Orly Superior hotels are on the right hand side of the road, time to get off the bus after a very short ride.
