The original small village of Roissy is still there and easily walked to from all the airport hotels featured here. The hotels surround the original village with pleasant parkland and paths to the village centre where there are a few small shops and restaurants.

The hotels are connected by shuttle bus to the passenger terminals at Charles de Gaulle Airport. The black bus pictured below services most of the hotels. Some of the hotels at the southern end of the village like the Golden Tulip and Campanile are serviced by a separate bus.

Black Bus Hotel Shuttle Between Roissy & CDG Airport

Room rates are cheaper here like for like than staying at one of the hotels by the passenger terminals. You also have the chance to escape the hotels themselves to the village and there is a modern,spacious tourist office as well as well as a village trail covering historic places around the village.

An alternative to Roissy off airport hotels is to take the RER train one stop down the line to the Parc des Expositions station where there are three hotels within sight of the station. The trains are more frequent that the hotels shuttle buses and when there isn't a major exhibition on promise value for money room rates.
