Unlike many airports Charles De Gaulle International Airport Paris is well spread out with lots of space in between passenger terminals. As a result there is room for five large modern hotels at Paris Charles De Gaulle airport built amongst the passenger terminals.

Three of the hotels at Charles De Gaulle Airport, (Ibis, Novotel and Sheraton) are directly above the two RER stations at the airport. This means you can be in the centre of Paris within 30 minutes.

A frequent free shuttle train goes the length of the airport with several stations along the way at terminals, stations and car parks. It doesn't matter too much then if your hotel is not immediately adjacent to the passenger terminal you are using.

The Hilton and Pullman hotels have their own shuttle buses to get you to the terminals.

Room rates are driven by the business market. Rates at weekends and holidays are much cheaper than during the working week.

The main alternative to the hotels in the airport are the off airport hotels. The largest number are found clustered together on the other side of the motorway/freeway from the airport terminals around the village of Roissy. Two hotel shuttle bus lines link all these hotels between them and offer the promise of lower room rates.

Another option if you are on a budget is to take the RER train one stop down the line to the Parc des Expositions station where there are three hotels within sight of the station.
