Metro
For most people the Paris Metro is the transport of
choice travelling around Paris. Details of ticketing, lines etc. are
on our Paris

The RER train service runs north south along the eastern sector of
the district, crossing over to the main public transport interchanges
on the right bank, Chatelet and Gare du Nord. |

Metro
Line 4 runs along the Boulevard Saint Germain before veering off to
St Michel and under the river to Chatelet, a major public transport
hub on the other side of the river.
Running along the left bank of the River Seine is Line C of the RER
stopping at St Michel. This runs out to Versailles making an independent
visit very straight forward. |
Local
Bus
Although not as fast as the Metro, bus allows you to
see more and there are plenty of bus lanes in Paris to expedite your
journey.
Most people will use the Metro or RER to get over to the right bank.
