RER is run by RATP, who also run the Metro
and city centre
buses.
As a result
train, metro and bus are tightly integrated, sharing ticketing systems.
If you are travelling within central Paris you can use a single ticket
which is also valid for Metro and buses.

Metro
For most people the Paris Metro is the transport of
choice travelling around Paris. Details of ticketing, lines etc. are

Lines 4 & 5 both visit Gare Du Nord and Gare de l'Est. Line 7
also visits Gare de l'Est. At Gare du Nord there is a walkway link
underground to Line 2 at La Chapelle staion. |

Local
Bus
There are major bus terminuses at both Gare du Nord
and Gare de l'Est. At Gare du Nord the bus station is above the station,
at Gare de l'Est in the street in front of the station.
Although not as fast as the Metro, bus allows you to see more and
there are plenty of bus lanes in Paris to expedite your journey. |

Bus 350 to CDG Airport
By far
the cheapest option from Gare Du Nord and Gare de l'Est to CDG airport
is the local bus.
Its just a normal bus service with many, many stops and not as fast
or comfortable as the RER train - price is everything.
It terminates immediately in front of Gare de l'Est and goes past
Gare Du Nord.
