Hotels near to the Champs Elysees are nearly all mid-range and top of the market hotels. As one of the most sought after locations in Paris for visitors you pay a sizable premium for staying in the area. As a general rule of thumb, the closer you are to the Champs Elysees the more expensive the hotel.

The Champs Elysees is of course one of the most famous streets in the world with its cinemas, cafes, luxury specialty shops and clipped horse-chestnut trees either side of the wide avenue itself.
It should be noted that the main department stores like Printemps are located elsewhere along Boulevard Haussmann north of the Opera Garnier in the centre of Paris.
The Champs Elysees itself is just west of the centre of Paris and is fully 2kms (1.25 miles) long. For visitors the Arc de Triomphe at its western end is where the main shops and ambience end. A classic walk in Paris is to start at the Arc de Triomphe and walk the length of the Champs Elysees slightly downhill, then walk through the Tulleries Gardens to the Louvre.
Line 1 of the Paris Metro runs the entire length of the Champs Elysees and goes on to major visitor attractions like the Louvre and Notre Dame.
The Arc de Triomphe is a bit of a transport hub with airport buses run by Air France, 3 metro lines radiating in all directions and the RER line with frequent direct trains to Disneyland.
